Went out today to buy my wife a new cell phone and wanted to stop by and look at an FZ1. I'd been reading about them for a while and wanted to see one in person. The dealer had an 09 demo with 300 miles and quoted me a price of $9400 or some where in that range. While sitting on the bike I noticed that the right peg was bent a little bit so I got off to inspect the right side. Noticed that the faring and turn signal had a few scratches on it and the heat shield on the exhaust had a small dent in it. I thought to myself, oh boy time to bargan. Long story short, I got the bike for $6000 and will bring it home tomorrow. Any tips on getting a 5th motorcycle in a two car garage?.....

Park-n-Move... Works for me. I can get 3 motorcycles and a Corvette into an oversized single car garage. I probably could have fit 4, but I knew I had lost interest in my FJR when it hadn't been ridden once since the XTZ showed up. I bought mine at the motorcycle show in Seattle last year. The biggest selling point was when my wife could move around a BMW on it's center stand without struggle or any help from me.

I’m on a two-bike limit in the garage, imposed by other household members. So I rent one of those storage units close by that’s the size of a two car garage…not too expensive. Not just for the bikes either, all the other stuff that clutters my garage and closets that isn’t regularly used gets shipped over there too.

Congrats on the FZ1! I've heard a lot of good things about them when I was checking into them a bit for my son (who eventually bought a R1).
