Before I had a KTM 1050 Adv. For that bike I had Sw-Motech side cases with their quick release cases support/carrier. However I was suprised and disappointed when noticed that can introduce an helmet in their 45lt case, only for a few millimetres...
Now, for my new bike (Yamaha Super Tenere TX1200ZE) I'm searching for a new side cases.
My goal is:
- One of the cases (the larger one) must allow me to introduce an adv helmet inside.
- I like the possibility to quickly remove the cases supports/side carriers when I'm note using the side cases.
Till now:
- Givi Outback 48lts allows to place an helmet inside, but do not provide a quick release solution for the supports/side carriers;
- The Touratech 45lts also allows placing an helmet inside, but do not provide a quick release solution for the supports/side carriers;
- Till now the only that allows both situations are the Givi Trekker cases (even if to place the helmet inside perhaps will not be so easy, since has a side/lateral overture and not in the top).
For these ones, Givi has a quick release side carriers system and also the Sw-Motech "quick-lock evo side carrier" works with these cases.
Therefore the questions are:
- The Trekker Givi cases are trustable.
- Can support some off-road time to time?
