Givi top box recommendation

I need a decent sized Givi top trunk for a Super Tenere with a nice, passenger backrest pad. The box shouldn't be huge, as there will be no side cases to balance things out but it should be adequately sized for lightweight jackets, gloves, etc. for two people on a day ride. Any recommendations?

I use a Givi V46 top case with passenger backrest (sold separately). I also fitted the Admore light which replicates tail light and stop light. Will not change the case for anything.

I have a Givi E55 (with Admore lighting kit) on my Triumph Rocket and have used it on the Tenere as well. I thought that it would look immense on the S10 but it looks fine. I can't fully open the OEM sidecases with it in place but since it comes off so easily, wasn't really a problem. Here are the only pics I have with it mounted on the S10...not the best angles but gives you an idea of relative size.

I have the Givi Trekker Outback, It is superbly built and has an optional back rest for passengers,
Definitely recommended. ;D

I'm about to pull the trigger this weekend from Motostorm.it for one, got pics mounted? What rack did you use? Altrider or Givi's top plate? Do the E157 back pad for passenger? reasonably soft?

I have the Givi Monokey 52 Liter Trekker top case, mounted on the Altrider rack, and a pair of 33 liter Givi Trekker side cases mounted on the quick release Givi racks.
I love this setup. Lots of storage. Everything pops on or off in a flash. Good looking (to me anyway), waterproof and rugged enough. Can fit two helmets and some additional small items like gloves, etc.

Mine is use mostly for commuting, touring and just riding around. Occasional off road, mostly single tracks and logging roads just to explore. Never had a problem with the cases.

I use the Alt Rider rack and the back rest is quite soft/squishy and sticks out further than the hinges.

Can do a photo on the weekend. Am away with work ATM.

I've been using a Givi E45 for the past 19 years. It appears to be bulletproof! ::025::

Apologies for the delay. I have taken some photos of the Givi Trekker Outback top case 42L version.

This is fitted to the Altrider rack as I like the quick detach option. As fitted, there is approx 1/8th inch vertical movement at the rear of the case, which causes the odd rattle over bumps. I have glued a strip of 5mm thick high density foam across the underside. This provides cushioning on the box and makes the fit a lot tighter.

similar here - the E45 box has just been fitted to bike no3 with me since about 2001 when I had a R1150GS. The box wasn't new then as I bought it from someone on UKRM, the usenet precursor to these HTML forums.

Just one caution - whichever box you choose (I have a GIVI with over 100,000 miles on it and no problems) beware that fitting the backrest eats into the passenger seat space. No problem if you are two lightweights but for the rest of us..... I have always moved the topbox mount back a bit to compensate or it can be angled front-up rear-down a bit (made my own mounts) to allow more comfort and more choice for the passenger seating position.

It does but I think it also depends on the mount you use i.e. Givi vs Altrider, etc.

I just took some pics of my V47 yesterday. Love it.

Planning to order the V47 this weekend to complement the two Givi E41 side cases. Need the space for an upcoming Denver to Las Vegas trip.....

A Givi Maxia Monokey is my choice and fits two full face helmets, pillion backrests are available gor this box.

When I'm riding solo I switch the Maxia for a 42 L Trekker Outback which fits all I need in it :)
