The gear shifter is slightly to high for me, but don't know how to lower it.

I would be grateful if someone out these could post simple instructions that even a numpty like me can follow.

Many thanks in advance.

I will try this.. Look at the shifter arm with the ribbed rubber on the end. Now look for a small round rod with a nut on each end. Loosen each nut and turn the rod to adjust the shifter. The nuts are called jam nuts. It will not take much pressure to loosen them. Use two wrenches. Turn the nuts away from the part the rod is threaded into.
The bottom nut will turn cc and the top nut will turn to your left.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but it looks like it has been answered fully. I'm having the same problem with my brake pedal. I have to lift my foot up off the peg to actuate the pedal. Do I just need to unscrew the center allen-head bolt and pivot the pedal down?

No, you can adjust the brake pushrod at the clevis at the rear of the pedal. Loosen top jam nut, then adjust the rod. There are some wrench flats just below the rubber dust seal. Re-tighten jam nut.

Many thanks for that.

I'll give it a try.

I've the same problem, and I've adjusted the brake side down all the way, it's to the point where I don't use the rear brake at all :/

Half tempted to machine a new pedal, myself.

The issue is even worse when I wear my new boots, the soles are thicker, I can barely shift with them.
