Hi, I'm in another situation where I have half-worn Battlewings but am getting ready for a long trip where I want to start out on fresh tires to avoid the possibility of a mid-trip tire change. I wonder if there is anyone in the Seattle area who needs tires who might want either/both of the two pairs I have. Both pairs are the high-load Super Tenere OEM fitment which are available for about $235 shipped on the net. (The medium-load R1200GS type is about $215/pair shipped.) No punctures/plugs, good/even wear, slightly flatter in the center of the tread. They were put on new so the fronts are less worn than the rears, with perhaps 60% of tread remaining, the rears about 40%.
I was thinking $65 for each pair. They're certainly worn, but I think they'd be good for a couple thousand more miles on the rears, maybe 3-4 more for the fronts.
Have to be pickup, not worth shipping.
