***** NOTE: UPDATED 08/31/13 WITH NEW PIX ******

2005 Kawasaki KLR650 - Fayetteville, WV (New River Gorge)

Third owner - 19811 miles (I bought it in 2007 with around 7500)
Well maintained but not babied. Service records available. Aztec Red & Black.

This was my first bike ever and my introduction to the ADV world. This past Dec, I bought a used SuperTenere and have not ridden the old KLR very much. I had plans to strip her down and make her a "lightweight" dirt machine but have come to realize that this is not a feasible way to get me the smaller offroad savvy bike that I really want to complement my SuperTen. So I am going to sell her as she sits and look for the right smaller bike - maybe something like a WR250R or similar.

Price dropped to $2800 firm for entire kit. If not sold in a few weeks as a package, will defarkle and sell everything individually.

Specs

Front tire is a Shinko 705 installed at 17949

Walmart ATV seat pad
Brand new spare clutch cable assembly
2 extra tubes each for front & rear
New iridium spark plug in box

Let me know if you have any questions. I am sure that there are some farkles or leftover bits I have omitted but this is a very solid kit ready to do some riding! Thanks!

Note: I rarely check this forum and have my PM's turned off. Plus conversing via PM is a pain in the ass for me. My regular email (trikepilot at gmail dotcom) is the best way to get me anytime as it pushes to my phone.

Alright... got my new-to-me WR250R tagged and out for the first ride yesterday. I can keep the KLR in storage indefinitely, but she deserves a good home where she will be ridden often.

Pix and full specs are above in the thread. I had made a counter-offer of $2800 to an offline inquiry that was not taken. So accordingly, I am dropping the price here at the SUperTen Forum and at ADV to $2800 firm for the whole package.

If it does not sell in a few weeks, I'll start parting all the goodies out. Those of you that have contacted me for dibs on some of these parts... I still have your names and will be in touch.

Someone come get this complete package and enjoy it.

That's a sweet KLR and a great price. If I didn't have my own KLR sitting, collecting dust, I'd buy your dust collector. :)

Dang Teneres.
