Hi
While mounting the gps on the bar, noticed something odd today. The left side fork appears to sit higher by 1mm, compared to the right side fork.
Should i bother ? or it s normal ?
Thanks
Don't be afraid to slide your forks up in the clamps too. There is really no reason to keep them at the very edges of the fork caps like that and many reasons to slide them up a bit. I recommend you slide them up about 5mm and then even them out the best you can. I measure from the top of the clamp to the top of the fork cap with a vernier caliper and It works very well.

Once you get your forks even in the clamps, you can loosen your front axle pinch bolts, hold the front brake and pump the forks several times. Then re-torque your front axle pinch bolts. Doing this will help center your axle in the axle clamp and should kelp your wheel bearings and tires out a bit.
