I'm going to get this machine over the summit between Carson Pass and Blue Lakes tomorrow. Jeep trail, some rough stretches, should be do-able. I've had my XL600 and my 4x2 Toy over it. Gonna leave the Chevron at 99 and Kettleman by 9. Packing a lunch and a paperback.

Didn't make the summit. Did make it back to Wet Meadows for lunch though. The last mile or two was a whole lot rougher than when I last went back there. That and the thunder showers had me chicken out on the Forestdale Rd. Next time.
LOL, these differentials really don't like getting shook up, do they. Got a ring of oil mist and dust around the vent. Lots of washboard hill climbs. S2 sure does nice.
