Engine cutting out at idle

Hi all,
Very rare I come on this site as my S10 is generally bullet proof, however......
I really am getting fed up with my bike cutting out at traffic lights etc when I'm just starting to move the throttle to open it.
Doesnt happen all the time but seems to be getting worse lately (happens a couple of times a day but cant always replicate the fault).
I've done a search on here and whilst there is tons of info, there's almost too much!
My bike is a UK spec gen 2 model, 9k miles, first registered in 2016. I've spoken to the dealer about it and they just shrug their shoulders, and no fault codes are present.
Any help greatly recieved!!

Take it to a different dealer

No excuse for the bike not performing as advertised, and, no excuse for the dealer not working with the problem.

No magic here on the site as far as I know, that is, this problem doesn't appear to have a "Oh you do A and its fixed" sort of thing.

As it should be in warranty (at least it would be in the US) I second the dealer thought. Some thoughts from there:

1. These bikes do stall occasionally in the first couple thousand miles, but you should be WELL past that stage of break-in.

2. 9k for what's now more than 2 year old bike isn't a lot. Try some tanks full with Techron.

3. Have them check the air filter, richen the CO setting, and do a throttle body sync. These bikes are surprising in how much they respond to the latter two. If you are capable, the threads on how are the second and third here:

4. Check the voltage across the battery at idle. Then have them check the battery for capability and not just another quick voltage check. If the battery is slightly weak and your regulator is below spec, the fuel injection may not be getting the voltage it needs.

I had this once, cut out just as I was about to move off. And as I was trying to push the bike to the side to let traffic go, I forgot it was in gear and that unexpected dead stop cause me to drop the bike. Prior to this, I had just sync'ed the TB but left the reference screw fully closed in.

Long story short, the fix is NOT just a TB sync. The reference screw (the one that is fully closed) should be 1/2 to 3/4 turn out and then sync the other screw with this condition.

Never ever does it dies easily......I would say, it is very forgiving if you make a mistake on balancing between clutch and throttle.

I didn't mention the screws because they are just part of doing the throttle sync and it's discussed in the linked thread.
