Would any of you who have the OEM side and top cases be so kind as to provide the interior dimension of the cases?
Clearly the Yamaha website does not have the cubic inches of capacity correct, and they don't provide liters or dimensions.
I am assuming the ones they are offering now are the same size as they have been the last few years, but I may be wrong about that.
Thanks!

Nominally, the side case interiors are about 7.5" wide, 16.5" long, and 13.5" deep. Top case is about 13.5" wide, 11.5" long, and 11" deep. But the interior shapes are somewhat irregular, especially on the left side case which has the exhaust cutout. And the top box doesn't have anything approaching a flat bottom because of the locking mechanism.

I don't think they've changed since introduction.

Yamaha has always had issues with the cubic inches specs for the luggage.

Some easily, some not at all, some a force fit. There's another big thread on this forum about this.

Does anyone have the dimension of the External sizes of the OEM panniers? Reason is that I am thinking of it as Carry-on luggage into the flight cabin. Will it meet the cabin bag size requirement?

Probably - Depends on the airline, as the allowable dimensions differ.

The right pannier measures 20.5" from one handhold to the other X 11" wide X 15.5 high. The left has the same overall dimensions but is narrower at the bottom, about 7.5".

As a side point, I found that FedEx s 25kg International boxes fit the side bags perfectly for shipping with room for a couple pieces of cardboard on each of the sides and corners. Sturdy, and free if you ship with them (though they don't like you using them for domestic, just sharpie over the logos...)

Appreciate the answers and options guys.

I am planning to purchase a used set from someone overseas, and transport them back via flight. If I can check them in and secure them strongly in a box, then that would be good. Somewhat I prefer to hand carry them as those luggage handlers are rough on anything that passes through their hands.
