::002:: I'll just start with that... lol
I know there are lots of post on AUX lighting, I've read an absolutely ton of them and I think that might be my problem, info overload!!!
I was involved in a car accident Dec of last year and finally got my pay out So I'm looking to upgrade the bike a little bit. I found https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/denali-d4-20-trioptic-led-light-kit-with-datadim-technology these and I like the looks of them but also saw on the forum that https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/baja-designs-squadron-pro-universal-led-lighting-kit these are also a very solid choice and come with life time warranty. The D4 2.0 lights have a S10 mount but it appears as thought they mount under the head lights which won't give me that wider profile I'm after. I've searched around and I don't see any 1" adapters that I could use to mount them to my crash bars.
What I'm wanting to get from the lights:
-Wider profile / Safety
I'd really like the lights to be mountable on the AltRider Crash Bar to make me a little larger to cars. I do live in San Diego so I do a fair amount of lane splitting at times.
-Illumate off the side of the bike
The stock headlights are god awful when trying to corner in the dark. I'd like the light to produce a good amount of light off to the sides so I can actually see the road.
-No blinding
Whatever light I choose I'd like to not blind everyone I'm behind or coming towards. I know that might be harder done then said, and I'm assuming that at some level I will be a little blinding.
Any feedback is much appreciated. I have a general understanding of wiring, but I will be taking whatever I purchase into the dealer and having them do it. Or maybe I can find someone local that will do it for a case of beer
