They do great job of filling in all the deadspot and brighnting the over-all pattern. What lenses did you have fitted when you took the pic?
The lenses in the photo are the Euros with the wavy texture. They were the more tame of the three sets of lenses provided. I’m really happy with these lights. Can’t wait to get a set on the Super Tenere. :)

for the ones who have hooked up the Denali harness to the auxillary light plug I have a few questions.

The auxillary light plug (the on on the bike) has a red wire with white stripe, Black wire and a brown wire. If I hook the Denali harness to the special plug that will fit the oem side what order is the wiring? Denali red positive to aux. red wire with white stripe, Denali black to aux black negative, Denali 12v switched power wire to aux brown wire and Denali 100% intensity trigger wire to brown wire pin (I don't want a low beam option just full intensity).

There is another option that allows low beam operation but that seems more confusing to me at the moment since it looks like I would need to find the high beam wire which is not in the oem plug as far as I know. I don't want to splice into the oem wiring anywhere so I assume the full intensity option is what I am looking for.

You're not planning on connecting the harness directly to the battery? Not sure if I'd do that.

Don't sweat tapping into the headlight and high beam wires in order to enable the dimming. TT includes two "posi-taps" in the kit, and they are simple and very effective. Just make sure the spot you're splicing at is protected from the elements if at all possible.

Didn't think it was necessary to tie harness to battery since we have power at the auxiliary plug which is switchable power. Friend just hooked his Piaa 510 harness to the plug using an oem style plug. Piaa harness looks no different tha Denali harness except for the dimmer intensity feature.

Is the Denali different that I can't utilize the oem plug? Confused?

Hey Bill thanks for the tip on the Jammy Sol One I just ordered a set from E Bay for 140.00 free shipping. I'm hoping to mount them where the front reflectors are.

I'd have to go out and take a look, but the battery connection wires on the harness are heavier gauge wire if I remember correctly. The hot lead is fused and goes into the "control unit" and then from there the other wires go out to the lights. I'm not sure if the amperage is higher into the control unit, but if it is then you could run into problems going from the aux plug. You don't need a switched source anyway, the control unit does that, you just need to tap into a switched wire so you can't leave the lights on. You can use the wire from the aux plug for that purpose.

Do you have the kit in your possession yet? It doesn't sound like it. It's very clear how it all fits together once you have it in front of you.

Excellent. Mine just got shipped out today. If I didn’t have a big ride planned this weekend, I’d be installing them, and my FZ-1 and all the other gadgetry that’s piling up here. :)

I don’t know the answer to your question, but the instructions say that the circuitry of the Denali’s may not be compatible with other wiring solutions and it might damage the lights. Maybe that’s why they only come with the harness. I'm not going with the Denalis, but if I had that set up, I’d probably go with their harness. I looked at the diagrams on TT's website; looks pretty decent. Both the wiring options look straight forward. I actually got an idea out of the diagrams for when my lights show up.

As best I can tell, there's only one or two taps depending on the wiring option selected. Both require a switched circuit. You could tap the switched wire (brown) on the auxiliary light connector for either of the wiring options. You could also tap the heated grip switched power wire on that connector that would light up only when the engine is running as member Bundu discussed in this Thread. If you wanted to go the dimmer route you’d need to access the high beam wire. Member Ulysses posted where that is along with some photos Here.

Thanks for the link bill I will hook it up that way.

Venture, no I don't have them yet but should have them by weeks end.

My whole point was to utilize the OEM plug since it has what I think the be a good guage wire for positive and negative. Those positaps look simple, clean and super easy and now that I know where the two wires are I see no reason to worry trying to source a plug to fit the OEM connector anyway.

I'll just wire to the battery according to the instructions and wire tap the other two locations, job done. ::008::
