Reinstalled Delkevic on my 2015. Had it previously installed on my 2012. When on my 2012, I left the baffle in. This time I tried it with baffle out. What a difference in performance! Especially on the top end!
Here is the big surprise........The sound is pretty much the same! It is NOT noticeably louder with the baffle out!
I also had a bad experience on the 2012 with the Delkevic melting the rear license plate holder. This happened on a 30 mile ride after I installed it.
I got wiser and pointed the exhaust where it's less likely to melt rear end plastic parts. But the exhaust seems to blow out not as hot. bike seems to run slightly cooler as well with Delkevic exhaust.
