Kick off your Traction Control (*hold the left dash button for 2 seconds after startup*)

Transforms the bike...I mean - no sluggish starts whether in Touring or Sport mode

No nasty vibes at 3000-3500 rpms

Just pure crack whip hold on Martha we be goin' places quickly and FAST

Try it - other than in the rain I've ridden in a coupla times - I always click it off.

uh --- wow-WUH :p >:D ::001::

I know, I said the same thing a while back. Makes a huge difference. Tires don't like me know though, I have lost 2.5mm of tread in about 1500 miles.

Heck yea.. when you click that off,,, WATCH OUT !!! :D I like TC on the road.. but off road I turn it off as soon as the tires touch dirt.. Ive spoke with several members that have gotten into some trouble because they had it on TC2 going up loose dirt hills and got all screwed up. ::010:: They now turn off TC when they get into the dirt... ::26::

I wish they had made it so that we could chose which traction control setting we want and it would stay there until it was changed. In other words, not defaulting to T1 each time I started the bike.

I think this is pretty good advice. I use TC2 on the road but when I got into some sand on a local lake road and tried to power through, the TC shut it down and the big thing started to plow...not good, I instantly felt every pound and felt fortunate to keep it upright. T drive mode and TC off when off the road is probably a good combo when climbing or riding on deep sand. TC2 for dirt/gravel roads isn't bad, lets it step out a bit. TC off is more fun, looooooong power slides. 8)

On the road, TC1 + S mode is an unpleasant combo, especially in first gear. Electronics kinds fight each other I think. TC 2 + T is easy to get along with on pavement and you have some traction safeguard.

TC2 + T mode is kinda my on road norm for now.
