Picked up my Matte Grey ST in '13 shortly after moving out here in December of that year, replacing my prior horse of a Yammy FJR1300. My house is about 5 miles away from the nearest pavement, at 9200ft, accessible only via a rocky shelf road - which made it obvious fairly quickly that the FJ wasn't going to be a good option for out here

I have to be honest in that I wasn't too impressed with the engine until I had the ECU flashed, now it works much better up here. Loving the bike, but I could smack the engineer who decided to put street tires as stock....

WookinPaNub & blues bob.......This is Mark up in BV (hence my clever user name). I bought a 14 ES last fall to use mainly as a road bike and to do two-up trips with the wife. I've got a couple other bike for bashing the rough stuff, but I'm always open to exploring the back roads, etc, just no single track on the S10 :. I suggest we meet up somewhere, say Cafe Dawn, to meet and greet, and plan a ride or two.
