I have no personal experience with them but read a couple of reports recently that said to save your 20 bucks and buy something that actually works.

I had a cheap NEP c/c on my vfr, then on my fjr and have it saved for the S10. I will let you know if it works on the S10. It worked fine on the other two bikes.

BD,

I will be interested in your take on that throttle lock. The only downside I can see vs a NEP, etc is it might be too easy to remove, if you know what I mean.

Did anyone notice the purple bow tied to my mirror, my daughter made that for me so I would remember her on a ride I took 20 years ago.

I missed it first look. Sounds like a well traveled bow!

The best throttle lock I've run across (I've had one on my last two bikes) is the Brakeaway;

http://www.brakeawayproducts.com/

It isn't cheap, though. And it takes a little patience to install. But once it's set, it doesn't require maintenance or adjustment (well, neither of mine have over about 30K miles so far). It clicks on and off with an easy press of the thumb, also clicks off with a tap of the front brake, so very safe.

I dont get a commission...just recommend this and plan to put one on my S10.
