So I just went to install my cct. Definitely did sone research and I screwed up. Thought I had it on TDC. Put zip ties on. In fighting the tensioner out I lost the screwdriver and that's when the teeth started skipping.

So where do I go from here

I took the valve cover off
How do I get everything back in line?

No worries, setting the timing marks is very easy and will serve you when you’re doing your valve adjustment in the future, do you have a manual that you can reference?

Here’s some pictures from my valve, adjustment job, noticed the little line on the cam sprockets that has to line up with the top of the cylinder head. Also look at the cam mark there Hass to line up with the mark on the cam holder, as far as cylinder one and two, let me reference my manual I will be back will get you back riding

So I need to get k lined up with the split in the crank and make sure 1 is TDC, then I'll remove the tensioner, move the cames and reinstall the chain

Also, don’t forget the mark on the side of the case on the round Which you have to line up also, Indian you have to have the cam mark lined up the two cam sprockets lines lined up against a cylinder, head and camp position mark

I guess where im at is I lined up k on the crank shaft. And I've removed the tensioner. I gotta figure out how to see these cam marks. Awfully nice that you can't see them

Yeah, there is a very difficult thing to see, I pulled off and pride away the site plastic to be able to see the cam, sprocket timing marks, the biggest job on this bike is the disassembly in order to get anything done

when you get everything lined up, don’t just put everything back together and start the engine, use a ratchet to turn your crank bolt with a K mark to make sure there is no resistance, and everything is turning correctly, then re-check, your alignment marks again
Just got it started up. Everything seems well. Going to run it a bit and take it for a spin tomorrow. Thanks for all your help

Don’t forget because this is a 270° engine. One of the cams will always be under tension so when you go to install it just keep that in mind.
Yes, this exact thing happened to me too. I'd totally forgotten about the 270°!
Thank you, if I get round to doing it again.
