Is there a proper sequence to torqueing the camshaft cap bolts? If its stated in the service manual I am not seeing it.

Yes, there should be a diagram for it. I don't have a FSM for the Super Ten any more, but my CP2 FSM for the XSR700 shows this diagram. It may be similar for the S10 since they are both parallel twins. I'd look again, or find someone with a genuine paper FSM for the Super Ten.

I do have a FSM but am not seeing a diagram. I do know on previous bikes I've had there was a sequence which is why I've asked here. I've double and triple checked the FSM for removal and install for Camshafts in section 5 and there is no diagram there.

I see the same thing online with a .pdf. It just says "Tighten the intake camshaft cap bolts." with only tips on getting the caps in the correct locations.

Well, heck, lacking any other info, I'd just go with the diagram above, it's not going to cause a problem.

On page 5-18 (the removal of the camshafts section), it offers the Tip - Tighten the camshaft cap bolts in stages and in a crisscross pattern, working from the inner caps out. This is when using the plastigage to measure wear.

There is no prescribed sequence in the manual. The key is to tighten evenly/uniformly, as you are pulling one of the cams into place against spring tension. (I don't remember which.)
