I've searched and found threads talking about people lowering the brake pedal height, but I haven't found any that about how to actually do it. I tried loosening the screw at the adjuster, but the rod didn't seem to want to turn. Am I missing something?

I also just purchased a digital version of the repair manual, but haven't found anything in there yet.

It's a 2016 if that makes a difference.

Its super easy.....

The jam nut might have crap on it.... use some spray lube on it... It might just be stuck...

Just take out the pin from the rear master cylinder (joint). If you want the pedal down, you screw the joint UP.... if you want the pedal to go up you screw the joint down. I think there is a 10mm jam nut sitting on top of this joint. Normally only one turn is all someone needs...
You put the pin back in, make sure its just like you found it from stock, check all your work and your done.....

If you do want to remove the brake pedal, take off that special clip from the rear. there is also a washer that will fall out if I remember correctly... Then slide it off..... Make sure you clean and lube everything when you put it back together... Check all your work for safety back to stock specs......

Remember to adjust the brake light actuation point carefully once the pedal feels right.

It's easily forgotten & will upset Cruise Control as well as showing the brake light unintentionally.
