I have been running autocom for over 3 years, very nice for Bike to Bike and intercom when 2up. I don't have the bluetooth dongle for ability to use the phone but I do have the GPS plugged in and listen to MP3 music sometimes.

But, the nagging wires to plug into your helmet is tiresome, so I usually keep all of the wires rolled up under my seat unless my wife is along (either 2up or bike to bike on her bike).

This link seems to be a new module that will allow all autocom functions using a bluetooth helmet, so could toss the wires or at least leave them under the seat (the module plugs into the normal 7 pin lead to the helmet).

Once you get a Bluetooth setup that works for you, I doubt you will go back to "wired".

For me, I just move my Garmin Zumo 660 and Zumo 665 between my three bikes and they all connect fine to the Schuberth C3 +SRC helmet just fine!

Best regards,

TCR

I also use the Sena SMH 10 setup. The bluetooth works very well with all kinds of devices. Especially useful is the voice dialing for the smartphone. Bike to bike communication is good too. The newest versions of the setup has flashable circuitry so that updated software can be easily applied. ::003:: ::022::

I too have the dual unit Sena setup. No problems talking with my wife when she's on her bike. I've always got music playing. And I've had more than a few phone conversations. Wind noise in the helmet is the only real problem. Above 65mph I lose my quiet bubble on the XTZ and the other party can't hear me.

What helmet are you using?

From the reviews I have read, the Sena seemed to be much better than any of the other setups in regards to wind noise.

Another happy Sena (former Autocomm) user here. The only thing I miss from the Autocomm is sidetone (which is where you can hear yourself in your speakers).
