Anyone from PNW going to the Tenere Rally in Arkansas - Oct. 20-24?

I don't know where but I want to spend a few weeks out on the road this fall. Is anyone from our area planning on going to the 2014 Tenere Rally in Arkansas?

I can see why folks in Arkansas would want to come here but I'm not sure why I'd want to go there, other than the fact that you'd get to ride through the Rockies. Google map >> http://goo.gl/maps/5ABlS

Pnelson don't discredit Arkansas its a great Motorcycle distination. Great roads and little traffic and great scenery. I hope you come the fall will be a great time to see it for the first time.

And maybe another reason is that THEY HAVE BAD A RIDING in that area ! ::012:: Why would we want the rally in a lame location ?

Seriously, it has some excellent riding in that area, along with outstanding dirt roads that cross the whole state. Some of the best twisty roads aside from maybe CA or TN... Really nice well rounded riding area. If anyone has never been out and around this location, it should be on the bucket list ! ::008::

Really??? That's the spirit! You're probably correct......nothing to see here. Besides, there won't be any Arkansans here as we will all be in the PNW because that's where we all want to go.

OK Mike, I plead guilty as charged, shortsighted and stuckup left coastie. <grin>

I promise to do some more homework and learn more about the greatness of Arkansas. If I can talk some PNW riders into coming with me, we'll come over and say hello. Look for some Oregon plates and say hi. I owe you a cold one.

Patrick, thanks for organizing another rally at the Hub in AR. I had a wonderful time last year and look forward to returning.

BTW, I see that you have started a thread about chatter about the 2015 rally, but it looks like that thread is locked, so we can't add any comments or chatter about it. ;D
