Another OEM Heated Grip Plug Question

Good evening fellow Teneristas,


One last question, I hope, regarding OEM heated grip plugs. I need confirmation that the blue wire on the OEM heated grip plug that comes on the bike is a switched hot wire, only on when the bike is on. Better yet what are the functions of all four wires?

Hey Wayne,

Like I said: L/B (Blue/Black) is off the key switch, B/G (Black/Green) is off the headlight relay, B (Black) is ground, and Lg/W (Light green/White) goes to the ECU. Don't ask me what the ECU connection is for.

Just received a box of goodies from Jim, myself. Took just over four days from Japan to the West Coast of BC. Outstanding service. ::026::
