Airbox gasket replacement

Any tricks to getting those ahole footlong rubbers to stick in the groove without glue or messing them up factory ones appear dry.
1 is under air filter
other is around edge of top cover.

OK I will take a few aspirin and put on some lawrence welk music and try again If I get committed ill repost in 72 hours,

Use a bead of hard oil. (grease)

All I had was silicon grease for disk brakes. Cleaned channel with brake clean and smeared some on the ring both gaskets went smooth Thanks OldRider
