I run the e705 radials and am quite impressed. I might try the 805's since they are a lot more off roadish...

Thought I saw a thread on this forum about but I am probably wrong. What I have read (wherever) is they handle very well, on and off, for a knob tire. Wet surface traction was good and better than expected. Don't remember the mileage but the wear was MUCH better than expected. Heard a couple comments about the front tire but guessing these riders have previously ridden a very expensive lower mileage TKC 80 front tire.

Will install a set for my trip to Texas in April or May.

Inmate says that they've gone 4k miles and still have ~50% tread left. That's ridiculous if true. I might have to get one of these to replace my Metzler K3s.

Im assuming he is talking about the rear ? Some people miss match tires and have just a front on... 4K in a front wouldn't be THAT impressive, but a rear would be :) I think we are going to look into running these and stocking them in-house...

According to him:
Update:
Approx. 4500 miles so far! Rear tire (e805) is starting to square off a bit but not too terribly so. I will say that if run about 90% highway on these tires with about 50% tread life remaining down the center.

This is really promising. How the heck is a knobby, that last anywhere near this long, this cheap?
