Hey all... I've been a member here for about a week now, but forgot to introduce myself. I live in Northern Arizona and have ordered my S10 and will be picking it up in a couple weeks.

My current bike is a 100 inch cruiser (Victory). I am excited to get a bike I can take fishing, camping, and touring through Mexico!

I haven't pulled the trigger just yet, but I will be coming from a 100CI Vic as well, so how do you feel about the throttle response and overall power compared to your Vic?

Wow... we sure are coming from similar worlds, huh? The Vic certainly does have that deep torque of a 100 inch V-twin, but the Super T is quite a bit quicker in every range up to about 70 mph. What the Yamaha lacks is the attitude and ego of the V-twin cruiser. That attitude and ego was attractive in the beginning, but function and fun are much sexier in the long run! If I could have both bikes I would, but since I can have only one, the Super T is the no-brainer choice for me.

I am having my Tenere's ECU flashed, so the power restrictions in the first 3 gears will be unleashed, and adding a K&N air filter and and Akrapovic exhaust. The stock Tenere was certainly enough power to do it's job well, but I like knowing I'm getting all I can out of my bike. Throttle response is quick, and power is respectable on the Yamaha (will get better with above mods). I must say I will miss that deep rumble from the V-twin, but again, that deep rumble is mostly attitude with little function.
