4 way flashers are mandatory in Europe, so we have those already and someone in the US on here have installed the left hand EU switch gear to a US spec bike................Cycledude said:

Yes, the Gen 1 US bikes didn't have hazards or FTP. However, I found that the Kawasaki Versys left cluster was identical, with the addition of those two switches, so I installed one on my 2012, although I didn't use them for either of their original functions. I also added the 2013 and up FJR right switch cluster (same as what now comes on the Gen 2 STs).WJBertrand said:

In my case, since I wanted to use the FTP and hazard switch for other purposes, I had to modify the wiring. If all you want to do is FTP and hazard, then adding the flasher circuit is really the only additional thing to do.Kurgan said:
