I will probably regret this because this is possibly the best bike I have owned but as I get older, it's time to get something lighter. But this is a great, versatile and reliable travel bike. It is well maintained and well farkled. Set up for a solo rider but easily restored to two up riding. Ready to head out cross country tomorrow!
Standard Super Tenere (non-ES) with 32,297 miles. I am the 2nd owner. The first owner bought it new, did an around the country ride and decided to get back into old Tigers. I bought it to replace my BMW, looking for a reliable travel bike. I retired two years ago and did my own around the country ride. About 67% of the mileage on this bike came from 2 trips! I purchased the Yamaha Extended Warranty thru the original owner and this bike is under warranty until July, 2021! Dealer checked the valves at the first suggested interval (26,500 miles!) and they were still in spec.
As a 2nd generation bike, it has the cruise control, which I used to not understand on a motorcycle until my hands got arthritis and carpal tunnel!
Extras include:

Extras include:
- Jesse Odyssey 10" panniers with over 90 L of storage, installed without the passenger rails, allowing a 2" savings in width. They are only about 37.5" wide.
- Altrider parts include: lower crash bars, skid plate, universal joint and side stand switch protection, plus the Altrider rear rack and rack that replaces the rear seat. Currently installed with racks level but parts come that will elevate the rear rack per the pictures on the Altrider site. Over $1,000 in Altrider parts installed.
- HeliBars bar backs
- wind defectors
- 15 amp power connection installed on dash for electric clothing and tire pump
- extra SAE connection for trickle charger
- Custom seat from Terry's Seats in Manchester TN. Nice seat. I am 5'9" and 185 for reference.
- Nearly new Shinko 704 on rear, lots of mileage on the Shinko 704 upfront.
- A box of OEM parts that came off, including the passenger seat and passenger grab rails.
