    2017 Tenere

Welcome to the party! You made the right decision. I also fell in love with my third bike. First I had a Suzuki DL650. Liked it but wanted more power so i traded it for a DL1000. Liked it at first, but hated it after 3000 km  Then I bought a 2015 S10. I will ride that bike until I die...

Inner liner/bag options for Givi Dolomiti 36ltr side cases?

If you want to go real cheap, the IKEA shopping bag FRAKTA is a good option. I use them with my Bumot 36/40L panniers. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/frakta-shopping-bag-medium-blue-60301707/

    Need new panniers

Thanks for the picture! What sizes are your boxes? One advantage of Bumots is that they are narrower than than the TTs. Bumot 40/36 is 92 cm wide and TT 31/38 is 98 cm and you get 7 litres more space in the Bumots. Sorry for the metric ;) For those of you with Bumots. How do you find it to pack...

    Need new panniers

I am considering new panniers for my S10. Currently I have the Trekker 33L but I really don't like the side loading. I have narrowed it down to three options. 1 - Anodised TT Zega Pro 38/31. 2 - Bumot Defender Evo 40/36 or 35/31. 3 - Mosko Moto Backcountry 35L 2.0. I'm not a gravel/dirt rider...

2018 R1200GSA back to Super Tenere

To each their own but I'm happy with my S10 even though it has some shortcomings like all bikes. Here is a funny story. :) Came from a V-Strom 650. The choices when trading it was S10, R1200GS and 1190 adv. Skipped the KTM because of the insane power. First I went to the Yamaha dealer and took...

    ADV Boot Question

I have the Daytona Trans Open Goretex. Labeled as "Enduro style touring boot". Not for the hardcore off-roader, it's more of a sturdy touring boot. Comfy and with better protection than an ordinary touring boot. The toe box has a low profile which is what you ask for. Expensive but extraordinary...

What do we now think of the bike

I've had my 2015 S10 for two years. I am 6'4" with 36" inseam and bought it mainly for the ergonomics and legroom. Rides mostly on pavement and it's a great bike for my needs. Excellent tourer. I have two concerns about it though. 1) Stock seat is too soft and becomes uncomfortable after an hour...

    Very long legs

I am 6'4" with a 36" inseam. Happy with the legroom. Seat in high position and bar risers.

    Figured out my Givi luggage

I have the Trekker side cases, both in size 33, and the PLR2119 rack. Mounting and dismounting the rack is quick and easy. Had the bags installed this winter and haven't been able to test them hard. But so far I'm satisfied. I wouldn't recommend the 33/46 combo. Looks awful to me. Check this...

the most beautyful S10 i have ever seen

The bike isn't a beauty for sure. I call mine "The Cow" ;D But there are uglier bikes out there, check this thread. http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/the-ugly-motorcycle-thread.1150275/
