Thank you for this! Rode over Hagerman pass in Colorado & thought my rear shock failed, was bottoming out the skid plate on the way down. I had left the setting on one rider & no luggage. Next time I will know better.

When I'm fully loaded, I use a Givi Top case & a dry bag on the rear seat. Has anyone removed the rear pillon and the plastic cover that includes the grab rails?
