I'm not sure if you've sorted your issue yet, but after reading of others having problems with the co-pilot being cramped for space , I elected to use the Altrider rack with my Givi trekker 46.
Worked perfectly, plenty of room for the wife, and the Altrider rack is a quality piece of kit.:)
