temperature is temperature. Screen don't flake out when it's hot in the shade, only after the Sun been beating on it.

that being said, wouldn't the low + risers setup allow you to pivot the bars closer to you. You say you have short arms and that setup seems better to me.?? I know you've studied these things and tried both. I'm trying to picture it all in my punkin head.
