    Another battery problem.

Makes perfect sense, and I feel like an idiot. I figured it out myself while looking at the pictures. Came back to report and found your message. Thanks very much!.

    Another battery problem.

Here are photos of the batteries: new on left, old on right. Only one way to install in bike for cables to reach.

    Another battery problem.

I tried to search this and found a couple posts that touched on this, but didn't find a solution. Just put a new Yuasa YTZ 12S battery in my 2012 S-10. Before hooking up, I looked at the battery terminal markings and realized I was about to connect the positive bike cable to the negative...

    Another Sargent Seat For Sale

Bought it in Sept 2012,so it's a original issue. Checked the Sargent website. It says the upgraded seat is to correct the forwrd slip issue. Didn't say anything about hardness, nor could I find anything about a free upgrade for original purchers. I'll call them. Thanks, Bob

    Another Sargent Seat For Sale

Since I don't know what a Gen 2 is, I'd say this one probably is not. So far, I haven't found any seat that makes this bike comfortable. I have both the Corbin and the Sargent. They are both better than the stock seat for me. I like the Corbin slightly better, so decided to sell the Sargent.

My Corbin Seat Order was Confirmed Today!!!!!!!!

Ok, got a short ride. Nowhere near enough to judge, plus I guess this thing really does need to break in. Preliminary reaction is that, since it is a molded seat, you are restricted to certain positions, rather than shifting all over the place like on a flat seat. So, far. I haven't found the...

My Corbin Seat Order was Confirmed Today!!!!!!!!

Ok, well despite my feelings bring hurt, I will post a couple pictures of the saddle once I figure out how. You will of course be astounded to realize that they will look a lot like the pictures on the Corbin website. Imagine that. In the meantime, I will wait for the seat to develop it's own...

My Corbin Seat Order was Confirmed Today!!!!!!!!

My Corbin arrived today. Fit like a glove. Install time was about 5 minutes as you need to use the lock latch from the stock seat. Looks real nice. Feels narrower than the stock, but is actually about 1/2" wider at the back portion. Still some forward slant, but smooth leather makes...

    Throttle Tension

Meanwhile, back to the original question..... Is the throttle adjustable? My dealer won't give me an answer. Just says that when he installed the heated grips, he followed "the spec" for throttle reinstallation. Seems to me if there is a spec, then there is some kind of adjustment. Thanks...

    Throttle Tension

So what actually causes the problem? I'd rather cure the root cause instead of putting a band aide on it

    Throttle Tension

That's exactly why I asked the question. Throttle was already stiff (if that's the word) and now after having the heated grips installed it's much worse. No, I don't have a wrist problem, but after a just a 14 mile ride, my wrist was tired from trying to hold the throttle open. Small, smooth...

    Throttle Tension

Is it possible to adjust the amount of effort required to twist the throttle? Thanks, Bob

    Touratech brake pedal extender.

Could someone post a part number for the SW Motech peg lowering kit? I just checked Twisted Throttle and could not find one listed specifically for the Tenere. Thanks Bob

    Insurance Classification Problems

I have a bill from Progressive for $598 for the Tenere. $100/$300, collision, un/under insured, etc. Home owner, multi bike, and other discounts. My previous total for 3 bikes was about $1,200. This bike raised the total by 50%!

    Grip Heaters

Anybody have the Yamaha grip heaters installed? If so, could you post a picture of the control switch and it's mounting position. Thanks, Bob
