Wear ear plugs and the engine becomes very quiet. Yes the engines are noisy, but it doesn't seem to affect the durability a bit. ::021::

Is there some sort of check valve in the vent that allows the air to escape and not let liquids in? It would be pretty simple with a ball of the proper weight.

The PC 8 has a relay and will make this install a snap. Use the 90 degree connectors and build a self contained wiring harness wrapped in heat shrink tubing. Then secure everything with a couple of zip ties. It'll be a nice afternoon project once my dash arrives.
