Thanks for the posting. I ended up fixing the top panel with some metal reinforced epoxy. Ordered up a new lower panel and all is good.

This right here! I need to relocate some accessory wires. I believe there is some outward pressure from the wires.

When I had the forks off and on my bench the other day the horn did take a hit or two so maybe it just needs some convincing to work again. Still it’s strange that the test light didn’t respond to the button tho. Will have to check into it further this evening

I checked the circuit last night with a test light but didn’t get any response. Will have to check again today with a multi-meter. All fuses are fine and signals still work

I’m hoping your “shop trick” has solved my issue with respect to the upper panel. If I have to order the lower panel (that is in stock) so be it!

The bike has a metallic flake paint job so if I go this route I would have to wrap the entire bike. I would prefer not to go down that road at the moment but thanks for the suggestion.
