Can anyone who does NOT have wind deflectors have a look and see if the holes where they fit have the screw in type screen holders or are the holes just open ??? I know it sounds a bit strange but I don't know if the wind deflectors came with or without the screws and holders for the screws.

You're right that was a poor attempt from me. Here they are just removed from the bike. No scrapes blemishes or anything, possibly still the odd dead fly though ;D
