    Pterodactyl and OldRider, in my opinion, covered it for you. The only thing that I might add is that from my experience, when meeting trucks, I would always pull to the side of the road and STOP. Usually the trucks would slow down and I would not get the rock storm. If I kept moving, the trucks...

    I have had Laam and Rusell Day Long. For mid-distance riding, Laam is a great seat. For serious long distance, Russell is the best. I am putting up my Laam for sale and replacing it with another Daylong.

    the "other" Heidendau - the K76

    Mileage on the K76 should be similar to the K60. Of course your riding style can make a difference. I can easily get 12K miles out of either tire.

    Looking to switch from Weestrom to Super Tenere

    2009 Vstrom 650 and a 2013 S10. To me, the buffeting is about the same on both bikes. It becomes very quiet on both bikes if I raise the shield so that I am looking through it. Most of the noise that I get is at higher speeds and comes from my helmet.

    Just brought my new 2013 Tenere home this week. Seems like a perfect blend of my DL650 and ST1300. The best of both bikes.
