Sorry for the confusion. That piece you mentioned isn't needed for Micatech panniers. As was said, it is for the SW-Motech Trax boxes. The racks will look something like this with the stainless steel bracket bolted to the upper part of the rack. Hope that helps. This photo is of a BMW F800GS...
