    Hello from Russia, Moscow

To say true, it was hot to get to that place. It is a desert Kara-kum and it was hard to ride through barkhans. When you get close the temperature depends on a wind. Without wind it is warm, with the wind on you it is really hot. And one more thing, during taking pictures of the bikes at the...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

During the preparation to my trip to Middle Asia I took away original panniers and installed SW-Motech quick release racks and Wolfman bags. Then installed rotopax 2 Gallons can on the Altrider plate. And prepared covers for the hands for the roads in mountains. Touratech...

Oil coming out the shaft drives breather/seal area - a problem?

It's really a problem in Russia. I suppose your roads are much better :( 50% of S10 have this leaking drive shafts. I changed by warranty few times sealing, once drive shaft and than the whole bike. So you really lucky dry guys ;D One of the problems is a spring on a seal, it's rather long.

    Hello from Russia, Moscow

This photo is from my last trip on my new S10. Thats how it should be after 100 km or more of dashboard. Thus way ventilation valve should work otherwise the oil will go through sealing. Dealer calls this situation like perspire (maybe wrong translation) and the oil level with such spot is ok...

    Karoo 3

I can say, that K3 is 50/50. Before I finished two sets of K60 and I'm sure, that K3 is better in off road. The only problem is, it goes out very fast after speed 130 km/h. First set of K3 I changed after 10K km. The rear tire could stay for 2K km more. With K3

    Hello from Russia, Moscow

Privet! :) During last trip we've been to Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. So it's a big list of the Soviet republics. The most complicated country from the list was Turkmenistan. First it's the only country where we need to get visa and...

    Hello from Russia, Moscow

The problem was with the sealing. The oil was flowing not too much, but the rim was almost covered. To say true, it's not so awful problem. First it happened during the trip to Kazakhstan after the rain in steppe. I got stucked there for a while and the whole bike was covered with the clay...

    Hello from Russia, Moscow

I'm reading this forum for 3 years and got a lot of useful information. Unfortunately, I didn't take part in your discussions before. All tecnical problems are common. This is my second S10 2013 year. The first one I changed by warranty last summer due to final drive problems after two years...

Rear End / Final Drive Oil

2 types of yamalube for final drive - which one do I use? Our dealer in Russia now use Motul Gear 300 75W-90 instead of Yamalube. I just returned from a trip in Middle Asia and there is no oil flow from final drive sealing. And thats a good news, because before I always had this problem. Even...
