Yes, the washer is large and doesn’t fit.

Yes, I had the same issue. I did place the washer on the spacer and under the rack (in between). Also I watched one guy on YT did the same.

Loctite Thread Locker 243 Medium Strength

Today I installed GIVI rack 2101 on my 1200ZE. Used lock tight glue and tightened it to my best sense. planning to recheck the fitting after couple thousand miles.
