    Any issues re-flashing newer S10's?

@TenereGUY, you might be the only person on the planet who can identify something I'm baffled about. I had the ECU flashed on my '22 ES - which turned out great! - but I had (and this really bugs the crap out of me) one bolt "left over." I took the assemblies apart and STILL can't find an empty...

    Any issues re-flashing newer S10's?

Flashed my '22 and there is no measurable MPG difference. Well, no difference when I'm riding sanely. The extra roughly 10 bhp and the consistency of delivery and smoothness gained make it hard to stay out of! I'm getting high 40s overall, and I use this to commute and run errands. I still get...

    Any issues re-flashing newer S10's?

Thanks for that. I actually have *not* figured it out, and even tried to get some locals who *should've* had some idea...but didn't. And I don't know how I missed this guy, but he's pretty epic :).

    Any issues re-flashing newer S10's?

After putting several hundred more miles on my '22 ST, the 2 Wheel Dyno Works flash nailed it. A bit more power, but now more linear and smooth. I don't see a hit on the fuel economy, either. I get 2-3 mpg less, overall, but I'm also dipping into that new-found power too often. It's a must-do. I...

    Navigation bar diameter size increase?

So...what worked - and really well - Got a 5-foot hose from Amazon for $12.50, cut it to fit across, split it down the middle and slid it on. So far, so good! Because it is so grippy inside, and the phone mounting clamp compresses it a bit further, I might not need hose clamps. And it actually...

For a bunch of us with persistent psychological problems, perfect is a temporary state :)

    Any issues re-flashing newer S10's?

I seemed to have hit it at a good time, but even at $300 this mod can't be touched for the overall gains.

    Any issues re-flashing newer S10's?

Same, I factored in the outgoing 2-day postage, about $15.

    Any issues re-flashing newer S10's?

The modes kept to their intended purposes, they are both more usable now, though - for me - the T mode is a bit too soft for in-town riding, especially off-idle. But when locked in on cc, it's about perfect. The S mode is more usable overall, and I've been keeping there for commuting.

    Navigation bar diameter size increase?

    Definitely considering it.

    Navigation bar diameter size increase?

Awesome, thanks. Got some stuff to work with now! Will circle back. Having just gotten this rig not long ago, will be going through the mod period for a bit :)

:) Good suggestion. This time...I actually also changed out the battery, so that was buttoned down.

    Any issues re-flashing newer S10's?

Put a few hundred miles on the 2 Wheel Dynoworks ECU flash, now. A '22 ES with stock exhaust, stock intake. Results: Smoother power delivery throughout A bit more power throughout More responsive in the mid range/at cruising speed Slightly smoother in the 4k-6k range (yay!) A bit more power...

    ECU Removal

Everything in this layer - just underneath the bodywork - is fastened. No empty holes here except for the bodywork. Any guesses/suggestions for the next layer before I pull stuff apart again?

    Navigation bar diameter size increase?

I looked before and didn't find any to fit 1/2" that didn't have a ball, only larger. Any specific suggestions?

    Navigation bar diameter size increase?

I've got a '22 ST ES. Has anyone been able to increase the diameter of the navigation bar to allow for mounting phone/nav devices with clamps larger than 1/2"? The solution would need to be solidly located so it won't spin/move on the road (obviously...). A typical phone mount clamp doesn't...

    ECU Removal

I'll check it again today, but I think that one I got. In that pic - if I'm looking at the right one, to the upper-left - also looks to be silver. I didn't have any silver ones left :). The one I have is the only one like it in all the fasteners I took off.

    ECU Removal

Before I have to go crawling to a dealer or deciphering an exploded parts view, after I reinstalled the flashed ECU (which is GREAT, BTW), I had - embarrassingly - one bolt left. While this has happened a few times over the years, I've always found a place for "extra" parts. But this time, I...

Another quick note about that hard-to-access allen head on the back side. You can more easily access from the top! Turn the handlebars full-lock to the left and there's more room to see and work. And those Xmas fasteners are simple to deal with. Push the tiny button in the middle with an awl...
