    nutnfancy? anyone watch?

He enjoys hearing himself talk. His reviews are far too windy for me. 10 minutes should be plenty of time to review an item. An hour is overkill. ::002::

    WR250R build

I'm curious about this mod. I have an '09 WR'R that has been heavily mod'ed out. About the only thing I haven't done is the suspension. Is this a high dollar kit, or something easy like replacement springs?

    Metzeler tourance made in China

I agree with the global economy concept too. But, there are certain things I will not buy if they are made in China. Generally important things like Food, pet food/treats, and tires. I've been running the Tourance tires on my bike and have liked them. If the new ones are coming from China...

Leo Vince with hepco becker pannier frames?

There are two versions of the Hepco Becker racks. The older version doesn't really allow aftermarket muffler clearance. Which is why the new version was designed. Sounds like you may have the older version. The best way to tell is look at the cross brace that connects the two sides...

Seat Options For a Short Guy ?

The low OEM seat has been great for me. Very comfortable, seems flat (no forward lean) and perfect for my 29" inseam. Sent via Tapatalk

My new S10 sounds like a bucket of bolts!

I've alway thought the engine sounded like a coffee can full of gravel being shaken. Sent via Tapatalk

    Cooked Headlamp Harness

I guess I didn't read good enough. I bought the ones linked by vnp514. My harness is perfect and shows zero signs of melting. All I did was unplug the harness from the bulb, plug in the ceramic jumper, tuck it up out of the way, and then closed up the compartment. Repeated for the other...

    Givi Crash Bar Test

Yikes, that doesn't look like fun. Glad you're alright. Those Givi bars don't look like they'll buff out.

    Kick n Gravel Podcast

Gave the episodes a listening. So far, good start. I have to admit I'm a Wheel Nerds fan, but they don't really cover large adventure bikes too much. One thing I'm wondering: Why you falling over so much? You do know the seat can be adjusted to a "low" setting? :P

Confirming tools needed for a oil change:

Don't forget a long Phillips head screw driver and a hammer. You may need to use them to get a too tight oil filter off. :-[

    Windscreens that work?

I like the stock wind screen set to the top position. The wind stream hits the top of my helmet, and I can ride with my visor open. I use the low seat, and am 5'9" 29" inseam.

    AltRider Luggage Rack

I use a 5.11 6x6 molle pouch. It fits in the space, barely and I zip tie it in place. It holds a Slime air pump and tire repair kit. It is not water proof, but I've had the kit in there for the past 19 months with no issues from the California weather...

    Fuel Pump O Ring Recall

I never took mine in for the recall. It doesn't leak and I don't see the need.

    Shell's motorcycle fuel up policy

I'm not coordinated enough to fill the bike while balancing on it.

    Shoei GT Air

Good review. I'm looking for a replacement for my RF1000 and have been eyeing this one along with the RF1100. Was thinking the time to buy would be in about 6 months when the "normal" riding season is over. Should be able to score a RF1100 for a decent price then, but maybe I should hold out...

Best aftermarket exhaust to fit with hepco and Becker panniers?

No, any exhaust will not work. The original Hepco Beckers are unique and are run very close to the muffler exhaust. HB came out with an "improved" design that doesn't hug the rear muffler exhaust. Not sure if anyone has really found a set-up that works for the old style HB panniers.

    Summer Riding Pants Recommendation Wanted

I bought a pair of the Firstgear HT Air Overpants two summers ago. I bought them during a close-out for cheap, and was planning to just wear them as an overpant for commuting. I found them to be a great overpant, and will purchase the updated model when these wear out. The pants are easy...
