Finally a ride!!! Little break in the snow..yay!

Made a shorty windshield for off road/summer. Idea from another inmate who used a KTM number plate. This ones an aftermarket Yamaha plate. Only had to cut the strap off as the rear mounting bits fit just fine.

Rode 1400km from Asheville, North Carolina back home in 15 hours. ::26:: Only stopped for gas and a Big Mac. Bike was flawless. I'm pretty much sore all over. Thank god for the throttle lock. Bigger windshield would have been great though.

Did about 140km today all very rough off road. Got home, hosed it off (which I normally don't do) and discovered my brake light is stuck on. I'm going to let it dry overnight and have a look tomorrow. I have no idea how long it's been like this. Riding buddy can't remember if it was working...

Gave it a good thrashing. Deep sand/gravel followed by mud only to be stopped by the 2ft deep ruts. Came out eventually after some prying. Check engine light with code 42 was on for the rest of the ride but ran perfect. Quick Google says rear wheel speed sensor so I'll have to hose it down and...

Ordered my decal kit and tank pads from Yamaha dealer in Canada. Decals $100 and tanks pads around $30. All very good quality. I have put a number of off-road miles on with no signs of movement from the tank pads. Very effective and surprisingly cheaper than most tank pad options.

Tried out the new TT Dryspec bag. Seems like it was made for this bike. Top quality but a bit expesive. Just a skid plate and I think I'm done! (yeah right...)

Finally broken in!! Went to practice in the mud after inserting the clutch fuse for the first time.

25F (-4C) today. God knows what it was at speed. No heated anything :(

This is exactly my problem. Half the images show it as "gold" and half show it as this horrible day glow yellow. Still hoping to see them on someones bike that were sourced from Canada or Europe (or Jaxon). I'm pretty sure they will be the "gold" from what I've heard.

That would be great. Did you order them through Yamaha Canada? Their official site only lists the red kit as I recall.

I own a grey 2013 and was considering ordering the yellow World Crosser decal kit from Yamahagenuineparts.com. There appear to be two colors depicted on their website and on image searches on the net; bright yellow and a gold color. I much prefer the gold colored decals and want to make sure...

Christened it in the mud. Went to the local forest. Only 4C and had rained for the past couple days. Bike was great until I got to the slick mud. Had to turn around after continually loosing the front end. Lots of opportunity to explore the traction control and ABS. Can't wait to get past the...
