What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Actually, it took several evenings, but I installed and got the initial set-up done with my new Penske 8983 rear shock, and I mounted a set of Flexx handlebars from Fasstco.com. First test rides have been just on rough pavement, crossing deep gutters and things like that, but WOW, what a...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Sorry, guys, I meant 850-lb spring. The 250 figure is me with gear and pannier contents.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

::015:: Just arrived from Nick at Stoltec Moto, a beautiful model 8983 Penske with 250-lb spring. I need to review the forum's mounting and set-up instructions for this shock, but you know what I'm doing tomorrow!

    Official XTZ Oval Sticker Mock-Up

Thanks for doing this, EricV. I want two or three when price is established. How wide are the finished decals? I'm wondering if they might fit on the fork guards I got from Jaxon.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I put on fork guards from Ride On ADV (thanks, Jaxon!) and Kriega fork seals and Zumo 660 GPS and went for a ride. I'm really liking the K-60's! ::014::

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I finally put on rising links, longer hydraulic brake and clutch lines, a set of Rox 2" adjustable risers, an Extenda fender (cut back 1-5/8" to avoid my Altrider skid plate), and new K-60's fore and aft. Whew! Didn't have daylight left to do any testing, but the adhesive on the fender should...

Ideas for rear wheel stand for S-10's single-side swingarm?

Yep! It was a sideways nudge, but I appreciate the tie-down tip.

Ideas for rear wheel stand for S-10's single-side swingarm?

Thanks to all for comments. It was kind of a dumb inquiry, and my terminology was not accurate. But I was thinking of having something a little wider and more stable than the center stand, for wrenching on the rear end, having the tire off for longer periods, etc. I bumped the bike once while on...

Ideas for rear wheel stand for S-10's single-side swingarm?

I've been searching for a wheel stand that can fit on the 1200 XTZ rear wheel. Both Pit Bull and K & L Supply make single-side swingarm stands, but apparently not the correct size pin to fit in the (right) side of the rear wheel. I discovered this after I ordered a K&L Supply MC35 Single Sided...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I've been very busy lately, taking advantage of cold weather to do some farkle-work. Let's see, I installed an FZ-1 Fuzeblock and wired up a voltmeter, Powerlet outlet, and PhotonBlaster front fork LED's. Then there was new Yamaha LED turn signals, and a P3 LED unit at the rear license plate...
