TGuy - i will fiddle around with the filler plate before deciding what I end up doing. For know I will get the tires inflated to the proper pressure install the winglets back on and register the bike for the coming season.

I have never really looked into winter riding and never will = I've never seen any motorcycles in real winter conditions !

I live in Canada - Montreal, Quebec to be precise and you have to use winter tires between +/- Dec 6th - March 15 you can ride during that period but you actually have to use winter tires and request some sort of derogation as well.

Foreplay - mine is an LB Products dash filler I will try and see if putting on top is an option ? Chances are that I will table this project since the riding season opens up in a week and since I lost nearly 2 months late last summer with my engine issues this project can wait.

Thanks to all: I was told by the electronics store where i bought this unit that if I wire it to an accessories outlet that the unit would turn on and off when the bike was running.

Yeah that will be the plan +/- 100 KM and I will dump the oil well worth the time and money in order to feel good moving forward - thanks

Tabasco - per the shop nothing was found neither a pin and or metal parts the hole indicates that the part went strait through. I have to tell you that I am nervous (Engine PTSD) but the mechanic/garage are confident of their repair. Will keep everyone posted WHAT IS YOUR OPINION about dumping...

Wymbly please see attached this is the back of the voltmeter that I bought to install onto my bike: Question: since it only has 2 prongs ( +/- ) would this unit be turned on/off when the bike is running/off or will it draw power continuously ?

Question when you install a LED replacement bulb on the head lights how should the LED be positioned: horizontally or perpendicular to the ground. I ask this question because on my previous bike there was a position due to light deflector design. Thanks
