Just started doing it. Used to start with the clutch pulled as well. Any ideas? Would the clutch mod have anything to do with it?

I see Pelican carrys both top and side loading panniers. Pros and cons of each style? I would think top loading would be superior, as you wouldn't have to worry about dumping all your gear out when it was opened, and they'd be stronger for using as a seat for camping, but would like to hear...

Just picked up a new 2012 black Tenere last Saturday, and am so stoked. $13,500 at Mukwonago Yamaha. Went from an R1 to this, and love it. Can't wait to use all it's got. This is a fantastic forum.
