    Headlight connector recall

Just got my letter through yesterday for the headlight connector recall, just info for those who have bought secondhand etc that may not get a letter, get to the dealer to get it fixed. The issue has been reported on here a few times, seems like yamaha have reacted now.

Tools you take on a all Tarmac tour.

Prefer the string tyre repair kits above the mushroom type, i've had more success with em than my stop & go kit for example. Good point about the electric pump and the accessory socket get something you can attach direct to the battery or install a higher rated socket.

Tools you take on a all Tarmac tour.

Puncture kit and a small electric pump, and euro breakdown cover. Sometime take a bit of tape and a few cable ties as well.

    Flat Boring Engine??

For flat boring engine read smooth and efficient, the engine on the s10 is deceptive. I find i'm always going quicker than i think i am and think S mode is plenty. I don't find it flat at all, plenty of torque/power always available when needed. I ride every day as i use the s10 as my main...

Burning Smell, could it be the clutch?

Road crap, i've noticed the s10 smells hot after shitty weather more so than my old gs. The engine is a lot more exposed and that big old can gets a lot of spray too. Just dont get obsessed by it and start sniffing the saddle or anything... ;D

Givi Tank Lock and Hard Shell mini Tankbag

Yes, bag fits securely and is the perfect size for small items, but it is small so if you want to put a pair of gloves etc in there its not going to work for you. It's a good size for phone wallet and a couple of other small items you may need to keep to hand. It is on and off the bike in...

Another UK Magazine beating for the Tenere

I've long since given up taking any notice of what the press say about bikes. Yamahas tend to have good residual values after a few years in the uk despite their high intial prices, due to the fact they are reliable, reasonably well built as far as bikes go, cheap to run and service and...

New Owner... Soon, hopefuly. UK, Kent.

Hi, im in sunny whitstable. Got mine from the bike shop faversham, great dealer been using them for many years but you wont get any leeway on price from em. They do discount on servicing accessories etc once you've bought a bike from them and you generally dont have to ask they do it...

    Adventure Bikes 2013 | Tests

Would'nt take much notice of what MCN says about anything, they are a bit of a joke here in the uk. Their report results tend to be based around who's paid for the most advertising in their paper that week. The s10 tends to get marked down in the uk due to it costing roughly the same as the bmw...

    Pinlock anti fog

Yes used one with the hornet, works well but i find the pinlock edges sit in my line of vision when i dip my head as it's quite a bit smaller than the pinlocks used in other helmets and sits quite a way from the edge of the visor.
