    The 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700

Back to a chain drive nah narrow hard seat nah no cruise control nah I’m sure if Yamaha make it it will ba a fine piece of engineering but it is a serious enduro bike for serious enduro riders, in Aus much like the US it’s nothing to travel 800 km (500 ml) in a day which the S10 eats up , it...

    Roadliner / Stratoliner Owners?

I am a Yam man through & through, I have my S10 and a 96 Royalstar, the latter is a fantastic cruiser . It has the 1300 cc liquid cooled finned V4 that sounds like a small block Chev, not the fastest bike out there but that’s not what cruising is all about and nothing sounds better , getting a...

    NULON oil in a 2010 S10 ?

Thanks Eric- what a pain it was on iPad the bloody thing doesn’t allow you to view file size so I had to email the pic to myself that allows you to reduce the size /send it/save the pic then this site would accept it.

    NULON oil in a 2010 S10 ?

Has anyone run NULON 10/40 full synthetic in their S10? Repco has it on special this month $44.95 for 5L which is pretty good for full synthetic but I’ve never used NULON before , it does say ok for motorcycles when yo look up the spec sheet .look forward to some feedback cheers Steve.

    Replacing the original fog lights

Nothing wrong with the standard ones for fog but they jus don’t have the depth for spotting wildlife.

    Replacing the original fog lights

Kangaroos usually hang out in mobs ( between 3 & 12) the problem is as you approach 1 or 2 might hop out and cross then just as you think phew missed them another 3 or more will follow. They get dazzled & confused by the lights stop turn etc they are so unpredictable. The obvious answer here is...

    Replacing the original fog lights

Yes it’s a problem, I’m in the Mallee country and since all of the firearms laws changed some years ago the population of kangaroos/foxes/rabbits & drop bears has multiplied 10 fold even making hard in the daylight sometimes.

    Replacing the original fog lights

Only looking to change them because I live in a heavily wooded part of South Australia and have a big problem with wildlife on the roads, mainly kangaroos. In a 20 km ride the other night I had over 12 kangaroos jump across the road , the lights that are on there now just don’t have the depth...

    2012 Tenere Question

As the owner of a gen 1 I fitted a MCCruise electronic cruise from Australia, integrates straight into the bikes system and works perfectly-well worth the money (about $750 AUD) ($500 USD)

    First gen S10

As the owner of a 2010 it’s a gem I’ve got 45000 on it now and consider it just run in, I fitted a MCCruise electronic cruise control from Australia-it can be fitted by anyone with a bit of patience and integrates into the bikes system. An Acropovic street pro exhaust helps it breath a little...
