Does this mount on the stock mounts, or does it need the mounting hardware from Madstad?

If it doesn't work out with either Whisperquiet or Tenforeplay, I am interested. I live in northern Illinois about 45 minutes from Rockford.

@ErictheBiking what size tire did you use since the 175's can't be found anymore? 195/55-17?

@Zacnzoe , can the auxiliary tank be taken off fairly easily if someone wanted to carry a passenger and then put back on for longer trips?

I have been riding for over 30 years. I am seriously thinking about a getting a Super Tenere as my next bike. I test rode one at the motorcycle show in August and really liked it. Hugh
