Yes the MTS-E is an incredible bike but still very heavy to explore riding alone. As you, I think the 700 could be a very good option, but I'm affraid we have to wait quite a lot :'(

Hi guys. I finished the Transibérica trip, about 2.300 km of real off road from Sevilla-Granada-Almeria-Albacete-Teruel-Barcelona. We started 12 bikes: 9 GS / GSA, 1 Husqvarna 701, 1 KTM 1190R and my Multi Enduro. Did not finished one GSA and one GS. We had break downs that we solved in two GSA...

There is nothing you can't do in your S10. I love the Yam and I know you can do serious off road with it.... at least I did it ::008::

I only ask to Yamaha to fit a MT07 engine in my 660. I don't need much more. less than 200kgs full (with 23 litres) Good off road suspensions 21" / 18" wheels ... and the 700 twin: 75 HP Perfect bike to me.

Well... the girl is on its way to Sevilla where in a week we are going to start the trip to Barcelona. Crash bars installed, GPS, Giant Loop bags and the new Michelin Anakee Wild that I hope they last the 2000km off road. The 170 rear wheel is massive!! Arriverderci bambina!
