where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

Needed to clear the head, so out for a leisurely 150km, country loop, quick photo at Mt Macedon, Victoria, Australia, last weeks of Autumn so a little cool and drizzly.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

These are from a company not too far from home, STEDI.com.au. (H7 collars already fitted) I have also fitted there C4 auxiliary lights. The company has a good following here in Australia.

The LED can be adjusted, they fit into the H7 collar and can be moved 360 degrees to adjust.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Thanks, have them up and down, tried them at night, real sharp cut off to the beam pattern, will give then a 90 degree twist left/right respectively, see how that goes

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

LED's fitted, will see how they go (or last) These are projector light specific, they are a bladed design, two LED chips at the tip (maybe 45 degrees) Was a bit of a squeeze fitting everything in and getting the caps back on. If they work great, if not back to halogen with the AUX lights filling...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Like many on here I fitted the larger caps purchased from member "deftoner"...great vendor to deal with, shipped all the way to Melbourne, Australia. Like many the world of LED globes is a mine field. I have fitted AUX lights, on the off chance of not finding a worthwhile H7. Having hit one too...

    Bike to compliment a S10?

This is a timely post as I just purchased a mint 2005 Ducati ST4S, I think it compliments the S10...both are twins, the Ducati is black and my S10 has some black on it....perfect.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Added the last part of the Ravetech bash plate/sump guard...some above posts reference the fender extenda, this is a similar idea, done in a different way. Initially I didn't order this part as I thought I would make one up myself, had made a cardboard template, but when I priced up some...

OEM top box lid accidentally open by itself during ride?? Any one

Replied to this post yesterday, and just so happens, I arrived at work this morning, went to open the top box lid, I'd like to say "to my surprise it was open", but I can't...seems an intermittent issue. My ride to work is 70km, country roads, I only put my lunch and drinks in the top box...

OEM top box lid accidentally open by itself during ride?? Any one

This has happened to me on a number of occasions, luckily, I haven"t lost anything, my top box is generally half to 3/4 filled at any time, and with nothing expensive, as I have lockable Bumot panniers that I trust more

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Ravetech Bash plate/Sump guard arrived from Thailand...after a quick read of the instructions fitted up the front and rear brackets, then bolted up the guard, with a little bit of a wiggle everything fitted up nicely. This is a solid well made piece of kit, all the tolerances are perfect. The...

    Replacing the original fog lights

The old PIAA tenere kit was H7 same as the headlights, the new PIAA LP 530 are LED, the old H7 are pretty useless...I'm in a similar position to you Steve, my commute to and from work is kangaroo paradise, in two years I've hit 3 of the buggers on my FJR1300 (no longer have) have been...

How do I get access to the daytime running lights?

I just replaced my T10 globes, if your screen is high enough you can just remove the bolts that attach the headlight, then with a little bit of fidgeting you can get your fingers in to turn, pull out and replace the globes, if your screen isn't high enough you need to remove the screen

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Installed rear brake pads, took me longer to open the bubble wrap and packaging than it did to replace them. Two bolts, less than 5 minutes later, job done.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Installed barkbusters and the VPS plastics, also had to replace the T10 parking lights, bit fiddly so replaced them with some 6000k LED, hopefully they will last a while. Looking at those painted headers, they do look nice, would think about cleaning mine up if I could find them through the mud.

where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

8 hrs and 650km through the Victorian high country, was a little cold, a little wet, a little muddy, but the S10 managed it all. The first couple of hours were a mix of city and country roads. Then real country roads to Lake Mountain. From Lake Mountain to Jamieson, about 120km of dirt road, it...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Replaced the air filters, in Australia they fitted the Uni Filter foam pod filters...checked the old ones, it appeared as though the previous owner may have washed them out in (god knows what) and they were disintegrating. Cleaned up the mess and jumped on the phone to order replacements, phoned...

    Helmet Opinions.

Arai XD4, for the first week or so I was unsure if I made the right decision, but once the padding softened up and fitted in the right places it's great. Earplugs are a must due to all the venting. It's currently winter here in Australia, I still ride to work everyday (140km round trip), rain...
